Missions

Our church is very mission oriented, both locally and globally. We support the Baptist General Convention of Texas, Paluxy Baptist Association, Couch Surfers, Operation Christmas Child, and the Juarez Mission. We hold annual drives for the Brazos Pregnancy Center and the Lottie Moon/Annie Armstrong offerings.

Food Distribution

Tuesdays 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Our food ministry started through a need seen by the Kingdom Builders, a group of volunteers that serve the churches in our area. We joined together with Waples Baptist Church and Unabandoned Church to provide food for over 100 families per week. There are no questions asked but we will provide lots of prayer for those we are serving. Our numerous volunteers joyfully serve our community weekly through picking up the food, organizing and packaging the food for drive-through distribution for those in need.

Operation Christmas Child

Collecting items throughout the year for children ages 2-14 to place in a shoebox which are sent around the world.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN A SHOE BOX WITH OTHER ITEMS. NO MILTARY ITEMS/TOYS AND NO GLOW STICKS OR LIQUIDS.

Hair accessories (head bands, barrettes, ponytail holders, combs, brushes), crafts, small stuffed animals, hygiene items (bar soap, toothbrushes, washcloths, solid deodorant, Kleenex), toys (small cars, small balls, yo-yo’s, dolls, small puzzles, jacks) clothing items (beanie caps, gloves, scarves, flip flops, underwear, tee shirts, socks, sun glasses), school supplies (note pads, spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, pink erasers, pencil top erasers, scissors, tape, post-it notes), a letter and photo of family sending the box.
